Privacy Notice

How Love and Harmony Care collects, uses and looks after personal information from enquiries made through this website, by phone, email or WhatsApp.

Who is responsible

This website is run by Süveyla Menekşe, a self-employed carer trading as Love and Harmony Care, who is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can get in touch at loveandharmonycare@gmail.com or by post at Suite 7-0714, Lonsto House, 276 Chase Road, London N14 6HA.

What information is collected

When you use the enquiry form, Love and Harmony Care receives the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, the type of enquiry and your message. If you get in touch by phone, email or WhatsApp, Love and Harmony Care receives your contact details and whatever you choose to share.

Please don’t include detailed health information in the form. If you do mention someone’s health, that information is treated with particular care and used only to understand the support that may be needed.

You don’t have to give your details, but without your name and email address your enquiry can’t be answered; your phone number is optional. When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the pages and keep the site secure. If you tell Love and Harmony Care about someone else, such as a relative, please let them know and show them this notice.

How it is used

Your information is used to reply to your enquiry, to arrange a conversation or visit if you would like one, and to keep a record of the contact. The legal basis is legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and keeping a record of them) and, where you are considering care, taking steps you ask for before an agreement is made.

Information about someone’s health is used only as far as needed to understand the support they may need and to arrange their care, and it is kept confidential. The legal condition for this is that it is necessary for providing social care (UK GDPR Article 9(2)(h) and Data Protection Act 2018, Schedule 1, paragraph 2).

Your information is not sold, shared for marketing or used to make automated decisions about you.

Who else handles it

Enquiries may be read and answered on the carer’s behalf by a trusted person who helps with correspondence. They use your details only to reply to you.

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., which also stores enquiry form submissions and checks them for spam. Notifications of new enquiries are sent to Love and Harmony Care’s email account, provided by Google (Gmail). Netlify and Google are based in the United States; information sent to them is protected under the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which UK law recognises as adequate. If you send a message on WhatsApp, WhatsApp also handles your message under its own privacy policy.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept for 12 months, unless you become a client. If you do, you will receive a separate notice explaining how care records are kept.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to ask for it to be transferred to someone else. To make a request, use the contact details above.

If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, please tell Love and Harmony Care first, using the contact details above, so it can be put right. Your complaint will be acknowledged within 30 days. You can also complain to the ICO, the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
